General model history:

The Maserati Ghibli is a legendary Italian sports car developed by Maserati in the 1960s. Here is an overview of the history of this remarkable vehicle:

The Maserati Ghibli was first unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1966 and immediately impressed with its stunning design and impressive performance. Named after a hot desert wind, the Ghibli embodies the perfect combination of elegance and raw power. It was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, one of the most famous automotive designers of his time. Giugiaro created timeless lines that combine elegance and sportiness. The interior of the Ghibli impresses with high-quality materials and luxurious details. Its tremendous power of up to 335 hp made the Ghibli one of the fastest cars of its time.

Explicit data about this car:

The car bears the chassis number 100, making it the fiftieth vehicle to roll off the production line – and thus still a pre-production model.
It was initially delivered in Italy and bore Italian number plates. EE 2553. The owner then took the car to the United States, where he used it until 1973.
There it was purchased by an Englishman who drove it until the end of the 1970s. The car was then sold again to the USA (at the time of export, it had approximately 26,000 miles on the odometer).

In the early 1980s, the vehicle was sold to a doctor in Germany who hardly ever drove it. Six years ago, I purchased the beautiful Ghibli with 29,000 miles on the odometer.
It can therefore be assumed that the low mileage is correct – especially since the original leather in the interior is in very good condition.

Last year, a major service was carried out and an Austrian individual approval was obtained. The rims were also refurbished and new tyres fitted. The car now has Austrian and German registration documents.
It is suitable for long distances and offers enormous driving pleasure.

All delivery documents from the Maserati Historical Department are available.

Conclusion:

The Maserati Ghibli 4.7 from 1967 is a symbol of excellence and innovation in automotive engineering. Its history is characterized by the art of Italian design and outstanding engineering. This classic combines elegance, performance and luxury in a unique vehicle that delights car enthusiasts all over the world.
